Your choice. On this particular day, I used a bee, a duck, and a lion.

Mom and I got on the bus

What does ______ say? (Make animal sound)
What a fuss!

I usually end with a weird puppet, like a dinosaur or alligator or spider
and I say
We got off that bus!
